Scholarship Timeline

  • Registration of candidate is done through data link (BCA will send a list of registered candidates for verification by the Student Affairs department) September 09 - October 31, 2024
  • Administrative selection (candidates that pass will receive the next test invitation via registered email) November 01 - 05, 2024
  • Assessment Test (online) & Interview (pre-recorded) November 12 - 14, 2024
  • Development and Training Program January - December, 2025

 

Scholarship Benefits

  • Educational fee support: monthly allowance and tuition fee support
  • Bakti Champions Program: Development program for a year

 

General Criteria of Scholarship Recipient

  • Indonesia citizen(s)
  • Active students of USU pursuing a bachelor’s degree in 3rd semester at State University
  • Not currently receiving other scholarships
  • Maximum age of 22 years old and unmarried
  • Possess social awareness and learning commitment
  • Active in being committees and in organizations (except for Non-Academic Achievement scholarship category)
  • Not currently working a full-time job and not under service bond from other institutions/organizations
  • Committed to following the entire one-year development program
  • Meet the “Special Criteria” of one Bakti BCA Scholarship category
  • Pass the entire BCA Bakti Scholarship selection process

 

Category and Special Criteria of Scholarship Recipient

Financial Aid Category

  • Provided for high-achieving students facing financial issues that constrain their education completion or at risk of dropping out.

  • Minimum GPA of 3,00 (Semester 1 - Semester 2)
  • Attaching financial constraint recommendation letter from local government (free format)

 

Academic Achievement Category

  • Provided for students with academic achievements, such as academic competitions and awards, organizational careers, recognition of works/projects, and other forms of academic achievements.

  • Minimum GPA of 3,25 (Semester 1 - Semester 2)
  • Attaching supporting documents of academic achievements

 

Non-academic Achievement Category

  • Provided for talented students with non-academic achievements, such as competitions/awards in sports, arts, culture, environment, or similar fields; and humanitarian actions with positive impacts toward society.

  • No limitation of GPA
  • Attaching supporting documents/certificate of non-academic achievements and videos showcasing talent
