Ditmawalumni USU organized a Career Development Course themed “Career Skills and the Future” to equip students and alumni with insights and skills for navigating the workforce, ranging from global career opportunities and CV-writing strategies to professionalism and the utilization of USU’s career services.

Students of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) once again achieved outstanding results at the 25th IMT-GT Varsity Carnival 2026, held at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). The USU delegation won the Best Cultural Performance award, along with 6 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals across various competition categories.

USU through Ditmawalumni, held the ILCAP (Industry Linkage & Career Acceleration Program) Preparation Course for Higher Education and Scholarship Opportunities under the theme “Preparing Your Next Step: Strategies for Further Study and Securing Scholarships.”

The Karate Student Activity Unit (UKM Karate) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) once again achieved outstanding results at the Andalas Open Karate Championship, securing several medals as well as the Best of the Best Senior Women award. This achievement demonstrates the enthusiasm and dedication of USU students in pursuing excellence in sports.

The Entrepreneurship and Business Skill Development Course, organized by the Directorate of Student Affairs and Alumni (Ditmawalumni) and conducted online via Zoom Meeting, was attended by 150 USU students and alumni. The program featured practitioners and academics who provided participants with insights into entrepreneurship soft skills, the creative economy, digital-based business, and business networking to strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset and skills.
