About the 2025 Sobat Bumi Scholarship Program
The 2025 Sobat Bumi Scholarship Program is a scholarship awarded to undergraduate students who excel academically, are active in organizations or social-community activities, have a concern for the environment, and take part in education at Pertamina Foundation partner campuses of which Universitas Sumatera Utara (Regular Sobat Bumi Scholarship Category) is one of them.
Components of the 2025 Earth Friend Scholarship Program (Regular Category)
Scholarships are awarded for a maximum of 8 semesters for S-1 / D4 students and a maximum of 6 (six) semesters for D3 students and or until they graduate. The components of the Sobat Bumi Scholarship consist of:
- Tuition Fee Assistance (SPP /UKT) of IDR 3,000,000.- / semester for Non-Papua Outer Java Region (Universitas Sumatera Utara)
- Living Expenses of IDR 750,000.- / month
- Capacity Building and Character Building
Requirements for Recipients of the Sobat Bumi Scholarship Program Year 2025
- Active undergraduate students who are currently a minimum of Semester II student and a maximum of Semester VI student (not on leave)
- Semester Achievement Index (IPS) or Grade Point Average (GPA) >3,00 on a scale of 4,00
- Active in social/community/environmental organizations/activities
- Not currently receiving scholarships from any party in the period January 2025 - December 2026
- Never involved in drug abuse, and other criminal activities
- Certificate of foreign language skills, preferably English (TOEFL/IELTS) gets more value
- Creating a paper with the theme “Small Steps, Big Impact: My Innovation towards Green Environment."
Writing Requirements for the 2025 Earth Friend Scholarship Program
General Requirements
- Participants are prospective applicants for the 2025 Sobat Bumi Scholarship
- Writing Paper must be original and compiled individually
- Writing Paper using Indonesian Language
- Writing Paper must attach documentation in the form of a minimum of 3 (three) photos
- The title of the Writing Paper is a maximum of 10 (ten) words.
Writing Requirements
- The written work must be at least 3 (three) pages and a maximum of 10 (ten) pages, excluding cover/title and bibliography (if any)
- Paper Size: A4 with the provisions of Margin: 3 cm (top, bottom, left, right)
- Font: Times New Roman/Arial, Size 11
- Spacing: 1.5
- Submission of written work in PDF format with the file name: Full Name_Univ_Title of Paper
