Scholarship Registration Criteria
- Bachelor's (S1)/Diploma IV students in years 1-3 and Diploma III students in years 1-2
- Maximum age of 27 years
- From economically disadvantaged families (proven by SKTM and/or a recommendation letter from the campus stating the financial/economic condition of the student)
- GPA ≥ 3.00
- Majors: Agriculture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Architecture, Arts and Culture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Communication, Economics, Education, Engineering, Languages, Management, Forestry, Geography, Health/Medicine, History, Informatics, Statistics, etc. (except Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Religion, and Theology)
- Active in organizations or communities
- Proficiency in English is preferred
Registration Process
Van Deventer-Maas Indonesia scholarship registration must be done online via ers.vdms-scholarship.org. You can download the list of required documents once you complete the online registration. If you are "invited" to the second stage, you must submit the required documents to the Person in Charge at your campus.

- List of required documents
- Certificate of Economic Disadvantage (SKTM) or recommendation letter from the school or campus (signed by the Rector/Dean/Head of Program) stating the family's economic condition
- Latest academic transcript or GPA (minimum 3.00)
- Official salary slip of parents or guardians, from government or private institutions. If both parents work, both salary slips must be attached, for a maximum of the last 2 months.
- Certificate of employment and income of parents/guardians (if self-employed), certified by the Village Office or a statement of employment and income made and signed on a Rp10,000 stamp.
- Photocopy of ID card (KTP), Student ID card (KTM), Family Card (KK)
- Photocopy of the front page of the savings book (after being declared passed)
- Electricity or phone bill (maximum last 2 months)
- Essay about yourself (family, studies, social activities, and achievements), what you know about VDMI, why VDMI should choose you as a scholarship recipient, what you expect if selected as a scholarship recipient, and what you will do for the community after receiving the scholarship and graduating. (Minimum 1.5 pages A4, Font: Times New Roman, size 11, and spacing 1).
The announcement of passing Stage I selection (invitation process) will be sent simultaneously to the applicant's email no later than March 14, 2023.
Applicants who have passed Stage I are expected to submit the required documents according to the List of required documents, to be submitted to the Directorate of Student Achievement and Alumni Relations Office using a RED FOLDER.
