Notified to all students of Universitas Sumatera Utara that the selection of Pertamina Sobat Bumi Scholarship Selection S1 Regular Year 2022 is opened, as for the following provisions:
Active undergraduate students at least semester II (two) to semester IV (four)
IP or GPA until semester II is ≥ 3.0 on a scale of 4
Actively participating in social/community/environmental organizations/activities
Not currently receiving scholarships from any party
Never involved in drug abuse / drugs, and other criminal activities
Write a paper, with the theme: “Care and Action to Reduce Global Warming” with a minimum requirement of 3 quarto pages with 1.5 spacing
Selection Stages of Scholarship Participants
Online Scholarship Registration Students register directly on the web-based application with the following stages:
Account registration
Obtaining a password at the registered email
Fill out the registration form in the web-based application,
Submit documents and written works with the specified theme
Notification of passing / not passing the administration and schedule of interview selection stages (video conference / teleconference) or offline can be through the PF website and social media, as well as email scholarship applicants.
Ranking System and Administrative Selection
PF conducts administrative selection for scholarship applicants with web-based applications. The results of administrative selection will be notified directly online on the scholarship applicant's account, and notification letter to related partner universities.
Completing Interview Candidate Data
Participants who have passed the administrative selection and are invited to the interview selection stage are asked to complete:
Scholarship Motivation Letter, maximum 2 quarto pages with 1.5 spacing,
Academic administration data,
Award certificates, and
Complete the form.
The account to complete the data uses the same account at the time of registration.
Interview Selection
Interviews will be held online with a video conference platform (using the zoom meeting application or whatsapp videocall). In the event that the video conference is constrained, it will be conducted by teleconference (group telephone);
Interviews will be conducted by at least 2 people;
The interview team consists of:
Pertamina Foundation;
Representatives of higher education partners,
Representatives of PT Pertamina (Persero) or its subsidiaries,
Figures, stakeholders or those appointed by Pertamina Foundation.
The interview assessment method uses the Online Web-Based Scholarship Application. In case of special conditions (no network) an off line assessment format (excel) is provided and will be sent immediately after the interview process ends to the email address beasiswa@pertaminafoundation.org
Assessment materials, including among others: Vision; Innovation; Work; Leadership; Commitment; Organization; Achievement; Data validation; and General Knowledge;
Time duration: each interview participant is allocated a maximum of 30 minutes;
There will be a subsidy / assistance in purchasing a credit package to interview participants in the amount of Rp50,000.00. The subsidy is given after the interview process through cash transfer or credit according to PF policy.
Scholarship Recipient Announcement
The results of the selection team assessment are determined by the PF Executive Board and officially sent to each College for re-verification.
The campus verification is to ensure that the scholarship recipients are not duplicate recipients.
If there are no objections or notes on the scholarship recipients, PF will then make an open announcement through communication media.
Re-registration of scholarship recipients 2022
After the announcement of scholarship recipients through official publication media, scholarship recipients are required to register by uploading:
student documents,
documents for payment purposes, and
Scholarship Cooperation Agreement Letter (SPK) with the motede submit approved virtual SPK.
For scholarship recipients who do not re-register until 12 (twelve) days after the announcement of the scholarship, it is considered to have resigned from the scholarship recipient. In this condition, the scholarship recipient will be replaced by the next ranking order (reserve scholarship recipient candidates who have passed the interview selection).
Capacity Building, Character Building, and Earth Friend Action Assistance
Scholarship recipients are obliged to participate in capacity building, character building, and Earth Buddy Action activities aimed at improving soft skills and environmental conservation activities organized by PF.
CB activities are in the form of Capacity Building Training and Character Strengthening Training online with materials on Leadership, Social Preneur Skills, and involving resource persons maestro (experts), practitioners, and prepared modules online along with assignments.
