Description
It is announced to the students of Universitas Sumatera Utara that the selection for the Pertamina Sobat Bumi Regular S1 Scholarship for the Year 2021 is open, with the following conditions:
Requirements:
- Register on the official scholarship website: https://beasiswa.pertaminafoundation.org/
- Active Bachelor's degree students, at least in the third semester
- GPA or IPK up to the second semester is > 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Actively participate in organizations/social community/environmental activities
- Not currently receiving a scholarship from any party
- Never involved in drug abuse/narcotics or other criminal activities
- Write an essay on the theme: "Sharing Experiences of Covid-19 Solidarity Actions and Recovery Action Plans" with a minimum of 3 quarto pages, 1.5 spacing
Scholarship Selection Stages:
- Online Scholarship Registration
Students register directly on the web-based application with the following steps:
a. Account registration
b. Receive password via registered email
c. Fill out the registration form on the web-based application
d. Submit documents and essay on the specified theme
e. Notification of passing/failing the administration and schedule for interview selection (video conference/teleconference) or offline can be accessed via the PF website, account, and scholarship applicant's email. - Ranking System and Administrative Selection
PF conducts administrative selection for scholarship applicants using a web-based application. The results will be notified directly online on the scholarship applicant's account, and a notification letter will be sent to the relevant partner universities. Interview Selection
a. Interviews will be conducted online using video conference platforms (Zoom meeting or WhatsApp video call). If video conferencing is not possible, teleconferencing (group telephone) will be used.
b. Interview Team, consists of:
i. Pertamina Foundation
ii. Representatives from partner universities
iii. Representatives from PT. Pertamina (Persero)
iv. Public figures, stakeholders
c. The interview assessment method uses the Online Web-Based Scholarship Application. In special conditions (no network), an offline assessment format (Excel) is provided and will be sent immediately after the interview process to the email address beasiswa@pertaminafoundation.org
d. Assessment materials include: Vision; Innovation; Work; Leadership; Commitment; Organization; Achievements; Data validation; and General knowledge
e. Duration: Each interview participant is allocated a maximum of 30 minutes
f. A subsidy/assistance for purchasing a phone credit package of Rp50,000.00 will be provided to interview participants. The subsidy is given after the interview process via cash transfer or credit according to PF policy.
- Announcement of Scholarship Recipients
The selection results are determined by the PF Board of Directors and officially sent to each university for re-verification. Campus verification ensures that there is no double scholarship acceptance. If there are no objections or notes on the scholarship recipients, PF will make an open announcement through communication media. - Re-registration of 2021 Scholarship Recipients
a. After the announcement of scholarship recipients through official publication media, recipients are required to register by uploading:
i. Student documents
ii. Documents for payment purposes
iii. Scholarship Cooperation Agreement (SPK) with the approved virtual SPK submission method
b. Scholarship recipients who do not re-register by the specified deadline will be considered to have withdrawn from the scholarship. In such cases, the scholarship recipient will be replaced by the next ranking (reserve candidate who has passed the interview selection).
