REGISTRATION FOR THE LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FROM TANOTO FOUNDATION IS OPEN
Tanoto Foundation has opened registration for the TELADAN leadership program for 2022. Interested applicants can access the registration form on the Tanoto Foundation website from August 17 to September 30, 2021.
TELADAN (Transformasi Edukasi untuk melahirkan Pemimpin Masa Depan) is a leadership development program aimed at nurturing the next generation of Indonesian leaders. In addition to various leadership training sessions, Tanoto Foundation provides scholarships in the form of full tuition fees paid up to the eighth semester and a monthly allowance.
Aryanti Savitri, Head of Leadership Development and Scholarship at Tanoto Foundation, stated, "Tanoto Foundation believes in the transformative power of education, not only in the sense that education can enlighten and change lives, but also in its long-term effects on society. We believe that by investing in TELADAN participants, we will help to nurture future leaders who can make a greater positive impact in their fields and environments. Through the TELADAN program, we strive to instill values such as perseverance, diligence, care for others, and the desire to empower others."
All selection stages for TELADAN 2022 will be conducted online, as follows:
Participants selected as Tanoto Scholars will undergo a leadership program divided into three parts: basic program, advanced program, and career preparation program. Additionally, Tanoto Foundation provides various enrichment programs, including the Tanoto Scholars Association (TSA) community, Tanoto Scholars Gathering (TSG) events, Tanoto Student Research Award (TSRA) research competition, Pay it Forward social activities, as well as internship programs, sponsorships, and international networking development in the Global Experiences Program.
The TELADAN program targets regular undergraduate students in their first semester at Tanoto Foundation's partner universities. There are nine partner universities: Bogor Agricultural University, Bandung Institute of Technology, Andalas University, Brawijaya University, Diponegoro University, Gadjah Mada University, University of Indonesia, Riau University, and Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Tanoto Foundation, an independent philanthropic organization founded by Sukanto Tanoto and Tinah Bingei Tanoto in 1981, has conducted various programs to support educational advancement in Indonesia.
