The Selection of Outstanding Students (MAWAPRES) Level Universitas Sumatera Utara was held on April 25, 2016, at the Building of Learning and Training Center LPPM USU. The Head of the Bureau of Student Affairs and Alumni, Hotma Karo-Karo, SE, opened this activity

Outstanding student participants at the University level were followed by the best students of undergraduate and diploma program representatives from each Faculty in the USU environment who had been selected at the previous Faculty.

This year, the outstanding student at undergraduate level from the Faculties of Medicine, Law, Agriculture, Engineering, Economics & Business, Dentistry, Cultural Sciences, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Health Society, Pharmacy, Psychology, Nursing, Communication & Technology Information and Faculty of Forestry.

For the Diploma program, followed by the Faculty of Economics & Business, Humanities, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.

Winners of Outstanding Students at Universitas Sumatera Utara Undergraduate Program: First place, Dinda Nazlia Nasution NIM. 140904064 (ISIP), second place, Khairin Ulyani Tarigan NIM. 140200039 (Law), third place, Veronica NIM. 141501131 (Pharmacy), and for the Diploma 3 program: First place Nurhaliza NIM. 152411025 (MIPA), second place Miranda I Putri NIM. 152600067 (ISIP) and third place Cindi Cahaya Pratiwi NIM. 142203016 (Cultural Sciences).
