This activity further strengthens Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) as a leading higher education institution that is not solely oriented toward academic achievement, but also consistently places strong emphasis on the development of students’ soft skills, leadership competencies, and career readiness.
AIESEC in USU successfully held Career Hallway 4.0 under the theme “Career Kickstart: Find Your Dream Career Here” on Saturday, 27 September 2025, at the Auditorium of the Medan Aviation Polytechnic. The event served as a platform for students and young people in North Sumatra to explore and prepare for their dream careers through a series of interactive and inspiring sessions.
The implementation of this event further reinforces USU’s position as a distinguished university that actively fosters an adaptive and highly competitive learning ecosystem. Through AIESEC in USU, the university integrates academic values with practical experiences that are relevant to the demands of today’s professional world.
This initiative also reflects USU’s commitment to producing graduates who are not only intellectually capable, but also resilient, principled, and ready to become agents of change across various sectors of national and global development. As a platform for personal and career development, Career Hallway 4.0 featured a variety of activities designed to help participants better understand career paths aligned with their interests and potential.
In her opening remarks, Tiara Nathaca, Organizing Committee President (OCP) of Career Hallway 4.0, expressed her hope that the event would serve as a space for participants to expand their professional networks and deepen their understanding of the world of work.
“Career Hallway 4.0 is a place for you to prepare yourselves and gain more knowledge about careers. Not only that, Career Hallway is also a platform for networking and building new professional connections,” said Tiara.
One of the sessions that attracted significant attention was the presence of Divhenia Putri Allysa, an outstanding student from Universitas Sumatera Utara and an active member of AIESEC in USU. In addition to her appearance on Clash of Champion, Divhenia has achieved numerous academic accomplishments and gained valuable professional experience.
During the Career Hallway 4.0 session, Divhenia shared strategies, motivation, and practical tips on preparing for a career while still in university. She emphasized the importance of having the courage to explore new opportunities and building professional connections from an early stage. Her presence not only inspired participants, but also equipped them with concrete insights on how to pursue career opportunities in the professional world.
Through Career Hallway 4.0, AIESEC in USU once again reaffirmed its role as an international youth organization committed to student leadership development, career advancement, and social contribution.
